Plan
We agree what the video has to do before anyone books a camera. You get a treatment, a shot list, a schedule and a fixed quote. No line items appear later. da da

Shoot
Fujifilm body, 4K log, and a Ronin RS3 for anything that moves. Log keeps the grade open rather than baked in, and slow motion is there for the shots that earn it.

This is the part I am best at, and the part that decides whether the video works. First cut inside ten working days, then three rounds of revisions, all inside the quoted price.

I am an editor first. Footage is raw material, and what decides whether a video holds someone is the order, the pacing and the cut. That is where most of my time goes, and it is what you are really hiring me for.
I shoot as well, on a Fujifilm body in 4K log with a Ronin RS3, which covers most jobs without anyone else on set. On bigger shoots I bring in an operator and stay on the cut, because that is where the budget does the most work.
